Emily Tea Set

Design

The Emily Tea Set consists of three ceramic pieces; teacups, a milk jug and a sugar pot with lid. The natural materials and neutral finishes compliment the simple forms and create a unique timeless set.

Function and aesthetics are taken back to pure basics. Using slight curves, it encourages holding the cup in two hands and the gentle angles create beautiful, modern pieces. To extend the experience of making tea, the sugar pot and milk jug complete the range.

Production

Each piece is hand made and finished locally in Sydney in a slip casting process. Mould making and production costs are reduced having all pieces made from the same dimensions.

White and bone glazed ceramics are standard colours. A slightly textured finish is achievable using porcelain, glazing the internal only, and leaving the outside natural to appeal to the sense of touch.

Frederick Glassware

The Frederick Glassware collection consists of a 1 litre jug and tumblers. The transparency of the glass is used to highlight the simplicity and elegance of the pieces. Subtle curves, slight angles, and colour options of clear and grey, create a modern, yet timeless aesthetic.

All pieces are made locally in Sydney. The glass is mouth-blown and finished by hand to achieve unique and delicate products.

In production, wooden moulds are recommended for use in the glass blowing process. This achieves greater consistency and efficiency   making the glassware by hand.
