Jonathan Ingram
Jonathan Ingram BA, Grad Dip Design.

Line, rhythm and texture shape the work of freelance designer and furniture maker Jonathan Ingram. He strives to maintain the essence of craftsmanship while continuing to discover new material and production techniques. Preferred materials include plywood, solid timber and veneers, Corian, stainless steel, painted finishes, textiles and upholstery.

His design process is directed by his desire to create original furniture that satisfies aesthetic, functional and spiritual concerns. Characteristically clean lined and crisp, simplicity of form belies the sophistication and quality present within the details.

“My furniture is often developed as a response to the increasing pressure on interiors living spaces, aiming to provide flexibility for contemporary urban lifestyles through multi-function and site specific design.”
